Any real estate ppl or agents know what "last transaction date" means on a MLS listing?

there is a property listed on my towns MLS and it has in one column......."Last Transaction Date: 2009-12-31T13:11:55"........would that be 1:11 pm my time and it also says this........"Active/On Mkt Date: 2009-12-31T00:00:00" does that mean that somebody has alread closed on the property or that somebody had a contract accepted at that time, but it would have only been on the mls for like 13hrs so how is that possible? I just got the email about these properties being added to the mls at like 6 this morning on 1/1/10 so again how can this be possible? Also another one says "BOM Date: 2009-12-31T00:00:00" and "Last Transaction Date: 2010-01-01T00:08:47" nothing was open on new years day for this to mean that they got an offer accepted at 1/1/10? Someone plz let me know something thanks|||this is the last time that a change was made to the listing.

Unless you are an agent, it really doesn't mean anything. I assume that an agent emailed you this information. What a DumbA** agent for emailing you information that doesn't matter. They should learn to use the system.
