Forgot to put in credit card exp date...what's going to happen?

I just paid for an application on the commonapp website and while paying for it with a credit card, I forgot to change the exp date from Jan 10 to the actual date on the card. What's going to happen? Will the transaction not go through once they see the wrong exp date?|||Typically, all information must match in order for the payment to be credited.
