Is an old cheque leaf "printed in 2003", valid for transaction, if I put today's date in it?

More than 20 cheque Books have been used by now but one of my oldest cheques went missing and someone used it yesterday. will that be a valid transaction?

The cheque leaf was carrying my signature with no date and no name.

The cheque leaf series is too old and the cheque was printed in 2003.

Can I sue the bank?|||no

A cheque is valid for 6 months means 6 months after you put any date on it. so, it doesnt matter when it printed. But if you complained about your cheque book and if you informed bank that your cheque book was missing then you can sue against bank.

Otherwise, tell bank to help you to find out fraud.
